This series is about the westernmost village of Denmark and it's beautiful beach.
These days we often see pictures of cows in narrow barns. Very rarely we see these animals growing up in open land. Like these two. Sitting around, relaxing and enjoying their happy lifes.
FIRM AS A ROCK
While ebb and flow and winds changed this tideland over time, this lighthouse stands here for more than one hundred years. Unchanged. Unchangeable. Firm as a rock.
Lighthouses are beautiful, especially the refraction of the light when the sun shines. You can see hundreds of little rainbows when you look into the lenses. Refraction, reflection and dispersion of light.
Locals try to prevent the tides to conquer the land by planting marram grass and bushes. But this is not always promising help. The plants often get destroyed by tourists, which walk through the dunes.
NO DOGS ALLOWED
Normally chasing dogs belong to beaches, like tides at the North Sea. At this beach there are no dogs allowed in order to protect the environment and animals.
